Winter Programme 2021/22
Winter has often been described as bleak.
With that in mind, a group of Horfield residents and local organisations (with the help of some funds from Bristol City Council) have come together to host a programme of events and activities to blow away the Winter blues and boost community spirit!
For some events, places must be booked in advance, and for others, you can just turn up.
Some activities are just for residents of Horfield Ward, and others are open to all. Please check the details before turning up, to avoid disappointment!

Lantern Light-Up Christmas @ Manor Farm
Get creative and make a lantern to join our trail! Pick up your kit with full instructions from the plastic box in the playhouse at the Manor Farm Community Garden on Butterfield Road.
Pop your lantern in your window, then share a photo of it in the Manor Farm Community Hub Facebook group, with your street name to add it to the trail. Everyone is invited to walk round at any time until 6th January 2022 to view each other's creations on display!

Join the Nature Recovery Ranger for a game of Nature Bingo whilst exploring Southmead Hospitals green spaces. We will be running two walks, one starting at 10:15 and one starting at 11:30 each around 1hr long. The site is not hilly, but sensible shoes for walking should be worn. Bring a pen or a pencil for bingo!
