One of the project proposals presented at the first Love Horfield Community Conference on 3rd May 2018 was the 'Litter Run' by Filton Avenue Primary School. It was great to have an update sent through this week -
"The Running Club braved the heat to complete a gentle run (with many water stops and rests in the shade) last week. Whilst running, the adults and children took turns to wear protective gloves and litter pick along the route. An entire black sack of rubbish was collected from along the cycle path and from the verges on Lockleaze Road and surrounding area."
Well done the children at the Lockleaze Road site. Look forward to more updates from some of the other projects from other schools.
